Do you ever wake up in the mornings and just think, "man, I really want a burger for lunch but I don't want to drive and get anything"...then follow this recipe, fire up that Blackstone, and get to griddling!
Ingredients
• 1 glazed donut, sliced in half
• 2 smashed sausage patties (about ¼ Ib sausage)
• 1 large egg
• 1 hash brown patty
• 2-3 slices of bacon
• Butter or oil for the griddle
Directions:
1. Preheat the griddle to medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.
2. Cook the bacon: Place bacon strips on the griddle and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the sausage patties: Place sausage on the griddle and smash with a spatula to about ½-inch thickness. Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
4. Cook the hash brown: On the same griddle, cook the hash brown patty until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
5. Cook the egg: Crack the egg on the griddle. Cook sunny-side up, or flip for over-easy, seasoning with salt and pepper.
6. Toast the donut: Place the sliced donut halves cut-side down on the griddle for 1-2 minutes until slightly caramelized and warm.
7. Assembled to your desired preference.
